There’s something powerful about the word NEW. It’s small, but it holds so much promise.
According to my phone’s definition, “new” means:
Not existing before; made or discovered recently. Different from a previous one.
That definition has been stirring in my spirit the past few months—especially as I reflect on stepping into 2025.
đź’› We All Love New Things...
A new book. A new notebook. New clothes or a new planner.
There’s something refreshing and hopeful about starting over or beginning again. But let’s be honest—sometimes new also means change, and change can be uncomfortable.
Yet when God does something new, it’s always beautiful.
đź“– God Makes All Things New
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new is here!”
– 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NLT)
“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”

“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.”
– Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NLT)
As we step into a new year, I feel a deep gratitude for the new mercies, the new beginnings, and the new purpose God is planting in this season.
🌱 My Word for 2025: GROW
While “new” has been on my heart, the word I’ve chosen for 2025 is GROW.
Not just in business or goals, but spiritually, emotionally, and personally.
Even as I approach a milestone birthday (60—shhh!), I don’t feel like I’m winding down. Instead, I sense God stirring something new and exciting. A fresh season of purpose and productivity, rooted in His grace.
